NTNU's Master in Information Security is based in Gjøvik, home to one of Europe's larger academic information-security communities. The programme has particular strengths in digital forensics, network security and security management.

Taught in English, the two-year degree is essentially tuition-free, including for many international students, reflecting Norway's public-education model. Students combine coursework with a substantial thesis in well-equipped labs and active research groups.
